SAE Baja is an extracurricular project run by the UT chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers.
It is open to students in all majors, not just engineering. We particularly encourage students in fields other than engineering to join the team, particularly:
Business/Management
Art/Design
Writing/Communications
There are only three requirements for team membership:

Become a student member of SAE International ($10)

Have an interest in cars, off-roading, metal fabrication, etc

Be prepared to work, learn, and have fun.
The team is currently meeting every Tuesday and Thursday in the Engineering Annex at 5:00 PM. Feel free to stop by.
