SAE Baja - Team Tennessee 2010

  

 

Update - 11/03/09

    The front suspension is complete and attached and the rear suspension is nearly ready to be mounted to the chassis.  We will be meeting Thursday 11/10 to install everything.  At this point, we will have a rolling chassis ready for powertrain installation.  Our gearbox is being machined and will be ready soon.

 

Update - 10/27/09

    Frame fabrication is under way and is progressing rapidly.  The essential structures are done and work is shifting to secondary structures and reinforcement.  3rd party parts orders should be in soon, allowing us to get the buggy on wheels ASAP.

 

Update - 10/02/09

    Design is done and checks out against the rules!  We will start main roll cage fabrication (tube cutting and bending) Tuesday, October 6th.  We need to have the roll cage/chassis complete by the end of the month.

 

Update - 9/23/09

    Baja Team Meetings are being held every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00 in the Engineering Annex off of Neyland Dr.  Email John at jpate10@utk.edu for more information.
